Stadium Super Trucks Adds Trophy Kart Racing to Main Event Schedule

The off road stadium racing entertainment package is never complete without the youth factor and the little ones chance to race on the big stage in front of a roaring crowd. The Mickey Thompson Series presented that irresistible break-through opportunity to race in front of 70,000 fans for many youngsters with the very exciting Pee Wee mini bike racing. For those who can remember the children often put on the most exciting races. With Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Truck (SST) Series about to make its inaugural debut, World Famous Trophy Karts have been added to the lineup and will offer competitive racing during the main event schedule.

As many as 20 Competitors will be racing door-to-door in the powerful 450 Modified Trophy Kart machines. The innovating brand behind the downsized off road platform; Trophy Karts are essentially scaled down versions of the much larger “Trophy Trucks” that are famous for running at over 100mph through open desert. Trophy Karts have been racing in short course off road and stadium events for the better part of a decade and are known for providing children and adults an affordable entry-level and safe motorsport discipline while carving out professional and highly competitive racers.

“I could not be more excited to bring Trophy Kart Racing into massive venues with Stadium Super Trucks,” stated Trophy Kart Founder, Nestor Berardi. “Robby Gordon has put together a terrific format of very exciting off road racing that the whole family will enjoy. Adding Trophy Karts to the main event lineup will no doubt inspire the younger fans and perhaps encourage another favorite family pastime.”

Trophy Karts will be included in four rounds of Stadium Super Truck racing beginning with Glendale, AZ on April 6th at University of Phoenix Stadium. There will be two back-to-back SST events in San Diego, CA at Qualcomm Stadium on May 4th and again on May 18th. The last planned Trophy Kart event will finish in Arlington, TX at the Cowboys Stadium on July, 13.
